You can read everything on belreos.com for free. You can quote short excerpts with attribution. You can't republish entire reviews, scrape the site for AI training, or use our brand to imply we endorse your product. Our reviews are opinion based on our own testing — they're not financial, legal, or buying advice. Use the site at your own discretion.
Read freely, quote responsibly, don't scrape us, and don't sue us if a tool we recommended turns out not to fit your use case.
Acceptance of terms.
By visiting belreos.com or subscribing to The Brief, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We may update these terms occasionally — see § 09 for how we handle changes.
You must be 16 or older to subscribe to the newsletter. There's no account system, so no separate sign-up agreement.
Our content & reuse.
All editorial content on the site — reviews, comparisons, scores, illustrations, the methodology — is © Belreos Ltd. unless otherwise credited. Here's what you can do with it:
Acceptable use.
Don't use the site to:
- Attack our infrastructure — DDoS, brute-force scraping, vulnerability scanning without prior agreement.
- Impersonate the brand — fake reviews, lookalike domains, or anything that suggests Belreos endorses a product when it doesn't.
- Harass our editors — including coordinated outreach campaigns when a tool you ship gets a poor score.
- Submit knowingly false reader feedback — corrections, ratings, or comments designed to manipulate our scoring.
We reserve the right to block IPs, refuse newsletter subscriptions from disposable domains, and take legal action against anyone abusing the site at scale.
Affiliate disclosures.
Some outbound links to reviewed tools include affiliate codes. If you click and subsequently subscribe, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This never affects scores or rankings. Every affiliate-bearing link is marked, and our full disclosure lives on the methodology page.
You're never required to use our affiliate link to access a tool — you can always type the vendor's URL directly.
No warranty & opinion.
Reviews on Belreos are editorial opinion based on our own hands-on testing during a specific window. Tools change, prices change, and what worked for our test cases may not work for yours. We do not warrant that:
- The information will be current the moment you read it (we re-test quarterly, but vendors ship daily).
- A tool we recommend will fit your specific business, jurisdiction, or workload.
- Third-party tools we link to will be available, secure, or solvent.
Treat our reviews as one informed input, not as buying advice. Test free tiers; read vendor docs; trust your own pilot.
Limitation of liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law: Belreos Ltd. is not liable for any loss — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of the site, your reliance on a review, or your decision to use or not use a tool we covered. This includes lost profit, lost data, downtime, and contractual damages. Our maximum aggregate liability is capped at £100.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded — including for fraud, gross negligence, or death/personal injury caused by our negligence.
Third-party tools & links.
Outbound links to vendor sites are for your convenience. We don't control what happens on those sites — their terms, their privacy practices, their pricing, and their reliability are theirs alone. If a vendor mistreats you, that's between you and them; we're happy to be told about it (it informs the next review) but we can't intervene contractually.
Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers in the EU and UK retain any mandatory rights to bring claims in their local courts.
If we change these terms, we'll bump the version at the top of this page. Material changes are announced in the next issue of The Brief, with a one-paragraph summary of what changed.
